A simple yet tasty Salad Dressing
The biggest problem that I face with my family is that neither my husband nor kids like to eat vegetables and I always try to find ways and means to feed them some fresh fruits, vegetables and salads some way.
I try to hide vegetables in food in a way that they cannot recognise it and also try to make different fresh salads with every meal. I put almost everything in my salad that I think that could be eaten raw, like cucumber, bean sprouts, apples, left over pineapple from a can and so on.
I make my salads more appealing for my family by using different salad dressings. Here I am going to share recipe of a simple dressing with lemon and honey that I make almost every day. You can also add crushed garlic in it to make it more interesting.
- Olive Oil 2 tbsp
- Honey 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
Mix all ingredients in a bowl or put in a jar and shake well. Pour on your salad and enjoy. This quantity is good enough for 1 large salad.
You can adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
You can also store this dressing in refrigerator for 2-3 days.
