American Breakfast Pancakes
My daughter watches cartoons and was really tempted on seeing pancakes topped with chocolate syrup eaten by different cartoon characters so she was insisting for many days that I should make pancakes for her.
I was feeling lazy and didn’t try but today I finally made these pancakes for her and trust me these were perfect, fluffy, yummy and really easy to make. Now my husband demands that these should be made on every weekend.
Here is the recipe and you can try these at your home as well.
- All Purpose Flour 1 cup
- Milk 1 cup
- Sugar 1 1/2 tbsp
- Butter (melted) 2 tbsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp if using unsalted butter
- Baking powder 1 tbsp (heaped)
- Egg 1
- Butter or Oil to grease surface of frying pan
Put flour, milk, sugar, butter, baking powder and egg in a food processor and blend really well.
Lightly oil a frying pan and put on stove on low-medium heat.
Pour around 1/4 cup of this batter on heated surface at a time. Don’t shake or move, it will take its round form itself.
When the top of the pancake starts blistering and bubbling like the picture below flip the side and cook for around 1 minute from other side.
