Chinese Chicken with Almonds
I love Chinese food and I love making dishes in Chinese style. So here is the recipe for this yummy Chinese Chicken with Almonds
- 6-7 Garlic Cloves Sliced
- 1/2 cup Almonds, peeled and fried till they turn Golden
- 1 Carrot Sliced
- 1/2 Zucchini Cubed
- 1/2 cup Chicken Stock
- 1 Onion Diced
- 1 Capsicum Diced
- 500 g boneless chicken cut in cubes
- 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp corn flour divided
- 1 tsp black pepper
Coat chicken pieces in a mixture of 1 tbsp corn flour and 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper. Put the chicken in the fridge for half an hour and then deep fry till it turns slightly golden. Remove from oil and keep aside.
Take 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, put it on the stove and add thinly sliced garlic cloves to it and fry until they turn golden and crisp.
Add chicken stock into it, and then salt and remaining black pepper, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Add chicken pieces. Mix remaining cornflour with some water and add to this mixture. when the mixtures gets thickened, add all the vegetables and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add Sesame seed oil into it and mix. Turn off the stove and sprinkle fried almonds on it.
Serve this tasty dish with garlic fried rice or egg fried rice.
