    Creamy Pasta with Chicken and Herbs

    Creamy Pasta with Chicken and Herbs

    We tried this pasta in Peri Peri restaurant in Bangkok and I wanted to make it again since that time. Finally I found the perfect recipe for this Pasta. I use just anytime of pasta for this dish but the one we ate was with Spaghetti.

    Creamy Pasta with Chicken and Herbs

    Ingredients

    • 4 bell pepper preferably red
    • 1/2 ltr milk
    • Boiled Pasta
    • 1 Onion chopped
    • Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
    • Butter 1 tpsp
    • Oil 3 tbsp
    • 1 tbsp All-purpose flour
    • 250g Cream
    • Salt
    • 1/2 tsp crushed red chillies
    • 1  tsp black pepper powder divided
    • 1/2 tsp sriracha sauce
    • 1/2 tsp dried basil
    • 1 chicken stock cube

    Method

    Toast pell peppers in oven for 25 minutes, remove the peel and the seeds. Grind these with 250g of milk and keep aside.

    Marinate chicken with salt, 1/2 black pepper and sriracha sauce. Take some oil in a pan and put it on the stove. Cook the chicken pieces in it covered for 20 minutes and then fry till the water completely dries.

    In a separate pan take some oil and butter and add garlic paste and onion to it and saute a little. Add bell pepper and milk mixture to it. Add rest of the milkd, salt, pepper, basil leaves, chicken stock cube and bring to boil. Toss in the chicken pieces and boiled pasta.  Add cream to it and mix it again.

    Serve hot. It is a delicious wholesome meal for those cold days. Kids would love it.
