Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken Strips
Fettuccine pasta in yummy Alfredo sauce will be loved by kids and chicken strips makes this dish a complete meal. I am sharing here the recipe that I have tried myself.
Fettuccine means ribbons and yes these noodles look like ribbons indeed. Parmesan Cheese is the main ingredient of Alfredo Sauce and butter, milk and cheese gives this dish its own unique taste.
In developed countries like USA etc. they can get ready made Alfredo Sauce but we can prepare it fresh on our stoves easily.
If you like to give it a more desi/spicy touch you can increase the amount of crushed red chili that you’ll sprinkle on it for garnish.
- 2 Chicken Breast Fillet
- Fettuccine Pasta
Ingredients for Alfredo Sauce
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 pack cream
- 1.5 cup milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 pinch nutmeg
Marinade for Chicken
- 2 tbsp dry thyme
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbps Chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp Paprika powder
- Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tbsp Red Chili Flakes
In a pan put butter, milk, cream, salt, pepper,cheese and nutmeg. Put it on stove on low-medium and let it thicken.
Pound chicken breast fillet a little with a meat mallet and then marinate chicken in the ingredients mentioned above and cook it in a grill pan for around 7 minutes each side. Cut in 1 inch strips.
Boil Pasta and mix it with sauce, sprinkle cheese on it.
Place chicken strips over that.
Sprinkle Chilli flakes on top and serve.
