Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings
These yummy chicken wings can be served hot at tea time or as a side dish with dinner.
You can use wings with or without skin.
- Chicken wings 500g
- Salt 1/2 tsp or according to taste
- Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
- Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
- Tomato Ketchup 1 tbsp
- All purpose flour 1/2 cup
Ingredients for Sauce
- Butter or oil 4 tbsp
- Honey or brown sugar 1 tbsp
- Ketchup half cup
- Water 1/4 cup
- Hot Chilli Sauce 3 tbsp
- Garlic Paste 1/2 tsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Crushed red Chilli 1/2 to 1 tsp (According to taste)
Marinate wings in half tsp each of salt, pepper and chili powder, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup and 1 tbsp oil.
Pre-heat oven at 180 C.
Coat wings with all purpose flour (maida). Lightly coat with oil and bake 25 min at one side and 25 at other.
You can also deep fry wings.
Take a non stick pan and add oil, then fry garlic paste and then add rest of the ingredients for the sauce in to it.
Cook a little and then add wings and coat well with sauce.
Keep on cooking on high heat till wings absorb all the sauce and none is left in pan.
