Lakshami Tawa Chicken ( DesPardes Restaurant Style)
There are many variations of Tawa Chicken. Some people make it with boneless chicken and in some restaurants Chicken pieces with bones are cooked on hot Tawa. I have tried Tawa Chicken from Cuckoos Den in Lahore and it was entirely different than the Lakshami tawa Chicken that I tried at DesPardes Islamabad. Both dishes are delicious in their own way. I have tried making Lakshami Tawa Chicken at home and the result was excellent. I used Desi Ghee to cook the chicken and it gave it a lovely aroma and flavour.
Ok here is the recipe of this yummy Chicken,

Now take a frying pan and add chopped tomatoes, marinated chicken and 1/4 cup of water, cover the lid and cook for ten minutes.
When tomatoes are a bit soft, add 250g of yogurt, fenugreek leaves, desi ghee, oil, and julienne ginger and cook on high heat till chicken is fully cooked through and oil gets separated from chicken. Now mix green chilli chunks and coriander leaves in it and turn off the stove.

My family loves to eat such handi like dishes with Channa daal or Masur daal.
