Namkeen Chicken Do Piyaza
This is my mother’s recipe and I just love it.
I can eat it with roti, as a side dish with pulao and just this chicken with a little bit of Tobasco sauce on it.
Onions 2-3 Big
Ginger Julienne 1 inch piece
Whole red chillies 9-10
Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Oil 1/4 cup
Take some oil in a pan or wok.
Fry chicken on medium heat with garlic paste and salt till it starts changing color.
Slice onion and thin slices and chop tomatoes.
Put onions slices, tomatoes, julienne cut ginger and whole red chillies in it and cover with lid. Turn the heat low.
The vegetables will release water and chicken gets fully cooked in 10-12 minutes. You can check it yourself if it is tender or not. If not then you can cook more.
Now turn the heat to medium and fry it till oil leaves the gravy.
